Elegant Navette shape Art Deco Camphor glass ring. Camphor glass is created by exposing crystal to hydrofluoric acid fumes. It was used in a variety of products in the Victorian era but hit its height in popularity in jewekry design during the Roaring 20s. Mostly used in big geometric plaques in necklaces and rings with filigree metalwork and set in the center with a diamond or pearl. Measuring 19.1 mm long and 10.5 mm wide, the navette shape camphor glass center of this striking ring feautures a starburst design and is bead set with a small Old Mine cut diamond in a diamond shape bezel that is finished with millegrain. The shoulders have lovely pierced metalwork in a floral and wheat motif. Made in 14k white gold. The ring is a size 7, resizing may be possible, please inquire.
