Antique Sapphire, Diamond and Seed pearl ring. A lovely cornflower blue sapphire weighing 0.15 cts is paired with an Old European cut diamond in a pair of buttercup baskets (diamond weighs 0.12 cts, I color and SI2 clairty). An additional single cut diamond (0.01 cts) is set between the two main stones and the open work design is embellished with seed pearls. 10K gold. The ring is a size 8.5 and resizing in not recommended. A vintage original c. 1900.
