Absolutely magnificent Art Deco engagement ring circa 1920s. The center stone is a particularly well cut Old Euro that is 1.10 carat, J color and SI2 clarity (GIA report 2191705460). The diamond is set square with picture frame prongs atop a lightly filigreed gallery. The shoulders begin almost at the top of the crown and gracefully swoop down the sides of the ring. Featured on either side of the diamond center stone are two French cut sapphires which replace French cut emeralds. Four round single cut diamonds are bead set in an arrow shape frame with millegrain engraving. Two round diamonds are bezel set at the terminus of the shoulder design.
