The center stone in this vintage engagement ring is a beautifully faceted Old European Cut diamond that weighs 1.09 carats, M color and VS2 clarity with GIA Report #6227450755. This white facing stone is set low in a beautiful four-prong ring with gently tapering shoulders. The band tapers from 2.6mm wide to 1.5mm wide at the bottom. Ring retains original makers mark SCHNEIDER'S. Crafted in 14k yellow and white gold, this vintage ring is currently size 5 1/4 and easily resized. This is an original Retro vintage engagement ring from the 1940s.
