Edwardian Diamond Cluster Earrings #VE250710-1
These magnificent earrings were made during the Edwardian era, early 20th C. Each of these earrings has an antique Old European cut diamond secured with nine talon style prongs. The surrounding halo of diamonds, eight diamonds in each earring, is a combination of Old Mine cuts and Old European cut diamonds. The center diamonds are 1.40 tcw, and the tcw of the diamonds in the halo is 1.8. The color and clarity overall is H-I and VS-S1. A simple, open gallery adds another beautiful element of design. They hang from a French wire with hinge-back closures, which add extra security (you do not want these beauties to fall off!). They are made in a subtle rose gold, which tests as 18k. The circumference is a nice 10 mm, height 6.5 mm, with a 7.5 mm drop from the ear.
