A bright and beautifully faceted Old European cut diamond, weighing .99 carats, sparkles spectacularly in the center of this superb Art Déco engagement ring. Hand fabricated in 18K white gold, circa 1920s. The stunning diamond is bezel set with a row of delicate millgrain. It is graded as J color and VS1 clarity with GIA Report #5221578002. The distinctive design of the ring is really marvelous. The hexagonal bezel has multiple flame shaped forms spreading out to form the body of the ring. There are ten, single cut diamonds, adding .10 tcw, bead set in these millgrain edged forms. Delicate engraving trails down the top and sides of the shank of the ring. The profile of this exquisite engagement ring features a pierced gallery allowing light to enter. The antique ring is currently a size 7 and some resizing is possible, please inquire.
