A classic and elegant engagement ring from the late 1940s is set with a beautifully faceted .50 carat Old European cut diamond (J color and VS2 clarity). The diamond is set in a crisp, geometric crown with vertical openings in the gallery. Four fishtail prongs are at each corner of the diamond giving it the appearance of having squared edges. The tapered shoulders swoop down from middle of the crown allowing the diamond to sit low on the finger. Platinum and currently size 7, and can be resized. Made in America.
